Our Mission

A foundation built on belief in people.

Grant Well Organization was founded on a simple conviction: talent is universal, but opportunity is not. We exist to close that gap.

Since 2009, we've channeled philanthropic capital, corporate sponsorship, and individual generosity into the hands of the people most equipped to use it well — students chasing degrees, founders building responsible businesses, single parents stabilizing their families, researchers solving urgent problems, and community organizers strengthening the places they call home.

We are an independent, non-political 501(c)(3) registered organization governed by an international board of trustees. Every dollar is tracked, audited, and reported with full transparency.

Common Questions

Answers, plainly stated.

We believe in radical clarity. If your question isn't here, our team responds to every email within one business day at support@grantwell.org.

Is there a fee to apply for a grant?
No. Grant Well Organization charges absolutely no application fees, processing fees, or administration fees of any kind. If anyone asks you to pay to apply for one of our grants, it is a scam — please report it to us immediately. All legitimate applications are submitted through our official portal.
Do I have to repay a grant?
No. A grant is not a loan. Once disbursed, the funds are yours to use for the stated purpose. We do not charge interest, take equity, or expect repayment. The only thing we ask is that you follow up with us at the 6-month mark to share how things are going — so we can learn and improve.
How long does the application process take?
Most applications take 20–45 minutes to complete depending on the grant category. After submission, the average review time is 14–28 days for standard grants and 5–7 days for emergency hardship grants. Research and large institutional grants may take 6–10 weeks due to deeper review.
Can I apply for more than one grant?
Yes, but typically only one active grant per applicant within any 12-month period. You may reapply once a previous grant cycle is fully closed and reported. Different categories sometimes overlap — for example, a student running a small business — and our team can advise on the best fit when you apply.
What documents will I need?
A government-issued ID, proof of address, a brief project or need description, and (for business or non-profit grants) registration documents. Education grants may request a recent transcript or admission letter. We never ask for full bank statements, social security numbers beyond legal verification, or upfront payment of any kind.
How do I know Grant Well is legitimate?
We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our annual financials are independently audited and published publicly. We are listed on Charity Navigator, GuideStar, and similar registries, and our board includes independent trustees from academia, finance, and civil society. You can verify our registration on our official website or directly with the relevant tax authority.
Can I donate or sponsor a grant?
Absolutely — and we'd be honored. Individuals can make one-time or monthly donations through our website. Corporations and foundations interested in sponsorship, naming opportunities, or matching programs can contact our partnerships team at sponsors@grantwell.org. Every dollar received is allocated within 90 days.
What if my application is denied?
You'll receive a written decision with brief feedback. You're welcome to apply again in a future cycle — many of our successful recipients applied two or three times. Denial doesn't mean we don't believe in you; it usually means our funding for that round was over-subscribed. Keep going.
Your Turn

Ready to take
the next step?

The application is free. The decision is fast. The funding is real. Whatever you're building, whatever you're studying, whatever you're surviving — we're ready to read your story.
